About the artist

Vinicius Barajas is an Architect and Visual Artist. He transits through various materials and techniques to manifest contemporary issues such as: climate change, deforestation and the other negative consequences caused by the action of human beings.

It is important to consider in the artist’s style the handmade and manual processes, manufacture of paints with spices, and watercolor with natural pigments of plants and fruits. Barajas considers that the humans are earth and connected with other living beings: fauna and flora.

He studied ceramics in Buenos Aires – Argentina, which brought him closer to nature in a way that observes, learns and considers that humanity has a great responsibility. The ceramic works revive the traditional processes of burning woods in the oven (which is built by the artist).
