“When I was a virgin” I

MELNYCHENKO SERHII, born in 1991, Mykolaiv – a member of the ukrainian photographic alternative and the founder and curator of the MYPH team (Young photographers of Mykolaiv). He started doing photography in 2009 and has participated in more than 100 solo and group exhibitions around the world for 10 years. The winner of ukrainian and international competitions, including “Photographer of the year” 2012, 2013 and 2016 (Kyiv), “Golden camera 2012” (Kyiv), one of 10 finalists of Showoff section of photography in Krakow 2013, finalist of “Prize of the Art Center Pinchuk” in 2015. He was awarded with “Leica Oskar Barnack Newcomer 2017”. The artist is the member of the “Paris Photo 2017” and “VOLTA14” in the framework of Art Basel in 2018. He lives and works in Mykolaiv.
