“Silence and tranquility”

POPLAVSKIY MYKHAILO, born on May 26, 1914, Klyuchevska – died in 1980 – Ukrainian artist. In 1948, he graduated from the Leningrad Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture named after I.Y. Repin, (now St. Petersburg State Academic Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture named after I. Y. Repin). Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR. He took part in art exhibitions: republican ones – since 1949, all-Union ones – since 1952, foreign ones – since 1953. He worked in the field of easel painting. Works are on display in museums, galleries and private collections in Ukraine and abroad.
