POKYDANETS VICTOR, born in 1961, Zaliztsi, Ternopil oblast – a member of the Union of Artists of Ukraine. 1983 – graduated from the art and graphic faculty of OdeSsa Pedagogical Institute. He is the exponent of the “New wave”. In the 90s, he tended to employ the national people’s themes and primitivism in terms of stylistics. The author of many well-known projects. I. Pokydanets participated in Christie’s and Sotheby’s auctions. He lives and works in Mykolaiv.
