KALENYK IRYNA, born in 1964 in Chernivtsi – Ukrainian artist, painter, photographer, well-known representative of the ukrainian social art. Graduated from Republican Art School in Kyiv (1983). Art School named after Vuchetych in Dnipropetrovsk (1985), Kharkiv art and Industrial Institute, Department of Monumental painting (workshop of Y. Bykov (1992). The member of National Union of Artists of Ukraine since 1993. Studied at the International Summer Academy of Fine Arts (Professor: N. Spermu, L. Holub, K. Winter), in Salzburg, Austria (1997-1998). Laureate of the Olga Kobylianska Prize (2010). Participates in international and group exhibitions (since 1996) in Austria, Romania, Spain, Poland, France, Germany, Hungary, USA. Lives and works in Chernivtsi.
