PODOLCHAK IHOR, born on April 9, 1962, Lviv – a ukrainian director, screenwriter, producer, artist and curator of contemporary art. He became the member of the Ukraine Film Academy. The artist is co-founder of the creative association “Masoch Fund” and co-author of all its artistic actions and projects. He graduated with honours from the faculty of Interior and Equipment of Lviv State Institute of Applied and Decorative Arts (now LNAA). 1985-1986, he worked in the Art Fund of the Union of Artists of Ukraine. He works in different types and genres of Fine Arts – painting, drawing, photography and video art. The master started his exhibition activity in 1985. He participated in more than 150 international exhibitions. He is the author of numerous projects in the field of Fine Arts, winner of 25 international exhibitions in Canada, USA, South Korea, Latvia, Poland, Norway, Spain and Ukraine. His 25 solo exhibitions took place in Venice, London, Mainz, Kyiv, Munich, Lodz, Bayreuth, Braidwood (Australia), Seoul, Zefat (Israel), Moscow, Lviv, Haifa, Hobart, Cadaques, Paris, Konin, Poznań and Gera (Germany). One of his solo exhibitions was the first ever exhibition in outer space. It took place at the Russian orbital station “Mir” on January 25, 1993.
