“Chestnut trees”

ZORIA HALYNA, born in 1915 – died in 2002, Kyiv. Famous Ukrainian painter, master of still life. Studied at the Kyiv Art Institute (1932 – 1946). Worked in the field of easel painting. Main works: “Autumn Flowers” (1957); “Still life. Souvenirs” (1960); “Chestnuts”, “Bread and salt”, “Marigolds” (1967) and others. Wife of the artist P. Sliota. Lived and worked in Kyiv. Her works are stored in Museums in Ukraine, Russia, Belarus and private collections in Europa, Asia and USA. Her attractive, colourful and poetic still life have a high demand among collectors and fans of painting.
