“Aurora”

SAVADOV ARSEN, born on September 24, 1962, Kyiv, in the family of Volodymyr Savadov (Armenian from Baku) – a ukrainian conceptual artist and photographer of Armenian origin. He represented Ukraine at the Venice Biennale in 2001. 1982-1996, he worked in a duet with Georgy Senchenko, in particular, the artists together created the famous painting “The Sadness of Cleopatra” (1987). In 1982, he graduated from the Republican secondary art school named after T. Shevchenko. In 1988, he graduated from the Kyiv State Art Institute (now National Academy of Visual Arts and Architecture). The artist held solo exhibitions in Vienna, New York, Paris, USA, Moscow and Kyiv. Savadov participated in group exhibitions in London, New York, Berlin, Paris, Moscow, Kyiv, Finland, Germany, Italy and Stockholm.
